Feeling overwhelmed?
Working in the voluntary and charity sector for almost 10 years, I came across a wide variety of service users with such differing needs. A common issue people needed support with was knowing who they needed to be referred to for support and how to make that initial contact. Many of my former service users didn’t have the confidence to contact companies or organisations for help as they didn’t know how to navigate the system or how to form letters, emails, fill in forms etc which can often be long, confusing and complex, so end up suffering in silence not knowing where to turn.
That was often where my support kicked in, referring service users to the right support, helping them make contact and supporting them with follow up support until they feel confident and comfortable to manage their situation independently.

I am a Data Protection Officer, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), with an up to date DBS Certificate and am fully insured to carry out the services offered on my website.
Service Users can request copies of any of my registration documents, policies or procedures at any stage of our work together.
I was invited to Buckingham Palace for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II`s Platinum Jubilee celebrations for my work on the Huntingdon Covid-19 Response Team.
I have completed online training from CAPASP (Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Against Scams Partnership).

I started working in administration almost 10 years ago for local voluntary community groups. I enjoyed helping people in this field and later became an administration manager for a local charity.
